2018 Husky Power Saw Men
Competitors may use standard chain saws in the loudest of all the logging sports. Bring your ear plugs.


 




 

2018 Jack and Jill
A bucking contest where a man and woman compete for the best time to cut through a 20-inch white pine log. Starting cuts of no more than 12-inch deep, in order to set the teeth of the saw, are allowed.


 




 

2018 Men's Underhand Chop
Using a five-pound single-bit axe, competitors chop through a horizontal log 12 inches in diameter and 28 inches long.


 



The Axe Throw

The competitors from the first year at the 2015 Bowfest Logging Show and the following years 2016 and 2017 at Veteran's Park.



 


Chokerman's Race

It's a race to the finish carrying the choker cable. Competitors must carry the cable around the climbing pole and then secure it around the log at the finish line. Best time wins. Kids have a lot of fun with this sport.



 



Single and Double Buck

Competitors from the first three years of our show.

 


 

Speed Buck

Competitors may use standard or modified chain saws in the loudest of all the logging sports. Bring your ear plugs.
